Crazy how AI music is taking over coffeshops and public spaces w/o almost anyone noticing. These immaculate vibe posters, with simple lowerscale profile names, or playlist names. They're all over the place now.Account with 10+ 2h playlists in a month. No curator would be able to do that, and if they did they wouldn't be sharing it this way.The thing is they're good sometimes and still enjoyable, especially as random background music for a shop or something. But overall they all sound the same. I could recognize the musical patters from a couple seconds listening lol.Issue is: it gets hard to dig new music now in this generative garbage :')
Good point is: you find new creative ways to dig music, which are better than just algo recommendations. While the dead internet is happening, I'll be going back to CDs soon ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ’ฟ

Card Games & Co. Time ๐ŸƒIโ€™m a huge lover of card games, and I know many of them, so people always ask me to teach them, so here it is on-chain! This one is particularly lovely so I wanted to share it. If people like this concept I will post more card games rules next!โ€”โ€”Todayโ€™s game is called Yaniv:I learned Yaniv in a bar in Paris a long time ago. I was with a friend and we had a cards game on the table we didnโ€™t open yet. Then a random drunk girl appears and insists rigorously that she teaches us this game. We followed through and it was a great decision! Thank you stranger for teaching me this wonderful gem of old school gaming!โ€”โ€”So in this game each player (3-5 players is optimal) is dealt 5 cards. The goal is to announce that youโ€™ve finished with the lowest sum of card values and a sum of card values under 7.Card values rank from Ace being 1, to all figures counting for 10. No jokers are played. All other values are ranked at face value.โ€”โ€”So the dealer changes turns, and turns go counter clockwise. First player is the first player on the right of the dealer. After dealing the dealer flips one card from the deck face up, in what would become a discard pile that is also a secondary draw pile.A game is played in multiples of 100 points (100, 200 โ€ฆ).When itโ€™s your turn, you have to either: play a card or announce youโ€™ve finished.Playing a card: you have to throw a card you want to get rid of first (to have the lowest value thatโ€™s under 7, remember). Cards that you discard in the throw pile are face up. You can throw a single card, or a double or more of the same value (2 fours ๐Ÿƒ”๐Ÿ‚ด, 3 kings ๐Ÿ‚ฎ๐Ÿ‚ฎ๐Ÿ‚ฎ โ€ฆ), or with series of different or same colour (๐Ÿ‚ฃ 3 spades, ๐Ÿ‚ด 4 hearts and ๐Ÿƒ• 5 clubs works fine). Once you have thrown your card, you have to draw a card. You can draw either from the draw deck, or from the throw pile. You can only take the last card thrown on the pile. So at the end of the cards swipe, your turn is over and itโ€™s next playerโ€™s turn.Announcing youโ€™ve finished: In the beginning of your turn, without playing any card, if you estimate you have the lowest sum of card values in your hand and a score that amounts to 7 points or less, you can announce the end of this game by saying โ€œYaniv!โ€. This game is over. So now everyone has to show their hands face up, if you have less than 7 in your score, and you have the lowest score of all players, you win this game and you score 0. If any other player has less than 7 and less than your cards values, you get 10 points as a penalty, and the other player gets 0 instead. In case of a tie, the two players that have the lowest score get 0. All other players get the sum of their cardsโ€™ values as a score. So thatโ€™s the game, when someone reaches the decided milestone (100, 200 etc). The game is over and the player with the smallest score wins.So in Yaniv, thereโ€™s a special rule I love. When someone reaches an exact score that is multiple of 100 they get reduced by 50 points. Youโ€™d think that wouldnโ€™t happen so frequently. But when you make it part of your strategy you can make it quite often!Hope you enjoyed reading, and enjoy your game!Ask me any questions if things arenโ€™t so clear.
