From crazy idea to music video in 2 weeks.Doing creative work professionally sometimes makes us forget the real purpose of creativity. Why we got into it in the first place.Creativity is expression. Whatever's bottled up. Our perception, our cravings, our past, the futures we imagine.And this is the best time to be creative.The tools we have now mean a song that's been percolating in my head for some time can finally leave my system. And then — a wild thought — I can make a music video for it. Build the band. Build the world around it.Zero experience in music video production. Made one anyway.So instead of searching for songs other people wrote that almost say what I feel, I started building an album of my own. Something I can come back to years from now and remember exactly what that part of my life felt like.And maybe someone listening finds a piece of themselves in there too.
