I’ll be honest with y’all.I had it all planned out. Drop “Keys To Success” 🔑 on my 35th birthday. Full circle moment, years of grinding, years of doubt, years of showing up even when I wasn’t sure anyone was watching, all wrapped up and released on the day I turn a new year older.That was the plan. But it’s not what’s happening.Somewhere in the middle of building this album, I started praying more than I was planning. And the more I prayed, the more I felt like I was trying to force something that wasn’t mine to force. I even asked myself, genuinely, how much longer I wanted to keep doing this. Not out of giving up, but out of wanting to make sure I was still doing it for the right reasons.What I kept coming back to was this. God already has the vision for this. My job isn’t to make it happen on my timeline, it’s to listen for His.So instead of rushing a release date just because it lines up nicely with a birthday, I’m choosing to wait until I know, not hope, not guess, know, that it’s time.That doesn’t mean things stop. Clockwork’s heading out on tour August through October, the music keeps coming, and I’m already sitting on something special I’m preparing for Christmas. There’s also news coming in December I can’t wait to share, but I’d rather tell you when it’s real than tease it before it’s ready.I know waiting isn’t always what people want to hear. I get it. But I’d rather give you something built on obedience than something rushed just to hit a date.God’s timing is greater than mine.The album is coming.
