Story Time 📜 : Back in 2023 when I was doing shows in the metaverse, a DJ reached out asking me to make a free “Top G / Andrew Tate” song. At the time I wasn’t fully locked in with God like I am now, but something deep inside me just kept saying don’t do it.Looking back now, I really believe that was God guiding me even when I didn’t fully understand it yet. Sometimes the Holy Spirit will check you before you even realize why. Introducing the Producer Behind My Debut AlbumI was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in North Carolina. Those two places shaped a lot of who I am — the sounds I grew up hearing, the influences around me, and the way I learned to understand music.Today I want to share an important part of the journey behind my debut album.On July 26, 2026, which is also my birthday, I will be releasing my first album. What makes this moment even more meaningful is that the project is being produced by ClockworkDJ, the longtime touring DJ and creative collaborator of Mac Miller.For years, ClockworkDJ traveled the world performing alongside Mac Miller, helping bring the energy and sound of those shows to life. His experience working at that level of music and performance has shaped countless moments for fans across the globe. To now be building a project together is something I’m truly grateful for.Over the past several months I’ve been leaning heavily into my faith and trusting God with every step of this process. When you do that, things start happening that you couldn’t have planned yourself. The connection that led to this collaboration was one of those moments where everything simply aligned the way it was meant to.This album represents more than just music to me. It represents growth, purpose, and the beginning of something I believe God has been preparing in my life for a long time. Every influence from my past — the music I heard growing up, the memories attached to certain songs, the people who shaped my perspective — all played a role in bringing me to this moment.Working with ClockworkDJ on this project brings together experience, creativity, and a shared vision for something meaningful. The goal isn’t just to make songs, but to create something that people can truly feel.Releasing the album on my birthday makes the moment even more symbolic.
