thank you @kipto 💜🙏

@fwb Fest with @musicnerd We spend so much time working online. This was a much needed time to hang out, share what we’re making, and talk about where the future of creative technology and culture is all going. Grateful for this community and everyone putting in the work to bring us together. A little background on what happened: C.Y. Lee (@cxy) and Carl Tydingco (@clt) are creative technologists working toward a world where fans can support independent artists more directly. They are working with 30 artists to will those ecosystems into existence, drawing on firsthand experience of the record-store, file-sharing, streaming, and NFT eras. The all-day “Sanctuary for Technological Creatives” was an open studio for artists working with software and hardware to share unfinished work, compare notes, and meet future collaborators. Artists including Sound of Fractures @sofractures (Alone Together), Tom Vek @tom__kell @chris_hipgrave @sleevenote (Sleevenote), Pete Rango @p3t3rango (@musicnerdxyz ), Latashá @callmelatasha @topia.vision (TOPIA), Forrest @forrestmortifee (Ascension Service), @jonathanmann (We All Make a Platformer), @vividfeverdreams (Dream Sequence), @xcelencia (El Nino Maravilla), @tkthelegend (Darkside), @blackdave.xyz, @raeisla (Prospect) and Mary Maguire @rndstudios.000 shared what they are making, and visitors were invited to bring work of their own. Shout out @roundpotatocat for helping execute and bringing this to life 💜Original music by yours truly 🕺

Last year I went to Colombia in an effort to re-connect with my culture and explore what it means to be a “culture mutt”
I teamed up w/ kevaux__ and used deadsetfc as our story telling vehicle; a brand focused on capturing the soul of football culture. The deeper I went, the clearer it became. Football had shaped so much of my story without me even realizing it.
Destino is my way of piecing the threads of my story together. Football. Music. Identity. You may or may not get early access if you hold this token 👀https://www.deadsetfc.com/artists-page/destino

“You cannot have taste if you do not know who you are.” In a world full of copy cats, clones, and AI generated content, curation and self awareness become even more important than ever.Having a reflective process like journaling and reviewing those entries has been transformative for me. You must take the time you reflect consistently on your why—why are you doing something ? Are you making a conscious and intentional decision or are you letting some other archetype lead you? Do you understand your internal compass? Are you self-aware?Thank you for sharing @floguo

I’ll start sharing these more on a weekly basis on Fridays. Here’s this past weeks GLADS (I’ll add what each letter means for those that want to try this reflective exercise): 08/23/24Grateful - For all the opportunities I have today
