Just look at the MIT Maker Portfolio videos.In robotics and related niches all the real money is tilted to defense. Consumer products really don't generate much to be honest.As someone trying to enter the UAV market it's pretty tough unless you know someone or come from a prestigious university with inhouse labs, especially for defense focused work.Consumer robotics and Tier 2 or Tier3 firms aren't that picky but they don't pay enough for the stress.The consumer market simply doesn't have the volume and the people who can offer you million dollar contracts are very old-school.Honestly, the easiest money you can make in this world is in crypto. You're better off making your capital in crypto first, then jumping into other industries later.
