One of the very useful crypto related browser extensions will be sunsetted by March 31st: WalletGuardAs many of you know WalletGuard was acquired by Consensys last summer. The functionality is available in Consensys' own major wallet app (what might that be? π)https://www.walletguard.app/blog/wallet-guard-sunset-notice
There are paid subscriptions available now. β¬29/year is a super nice offer! πBut damn, my card issuer doesn't want me to subscribe and declined the transaction. This didn't happen before. Never. In the past, I even had two paid subscriptions on Substack. No issues, same bank/issuer. Hm...
Unfortunately, @rileybeans has left the crypto space. However, she has started a newsletter on Substack, Kimiya. There's only an about page yet, but the newsletter might be interesting. Check it out!https://kimiyamag.substack.com/about

"President Vladimir V. Putin on Monday said American companies could do lucrative business deals in Russia and even help mine rare earths in Russian-occupied Ukraine, further amplifying the Kremlinβs message to President Trump that there was money to be made from a better relationship with Moscow."

Hopefully, the EU, the UK, Canada,... will blacklist companies agreeing to such deals.
I want to get rid of X. Just deactivate your account, you might say.Well, it's not that simple. Here's why I still rely on Musk's scum factory: basically, all crypto projects rely on it as well. X is often the only reliable source to tell if a URL, an announcement, news,... are legit.A couple of years ago it was possible to see most of Twitter's content without being logged in to the platform. Those days are gone. So, is there another reliable way to know if a project's URL is shinynewcrypto dot com or shinynewcrypto dot xyz or any other domain? Do projects use other platforms and communication as often and regularly as X?
