People : wants ownership of their social , accounts shouldn't be banned
CT people : here you go this is the protocol, bring your own keys, pay fees for each interaction, since now you essentially own the server
People : yay, but nay on paying fees, never paid before why should i do now
CT people : okay, here you go again, we provide our app layer on it, and also will pay for your server fees, rules will be ours, you can even use google login
People : yay, but wait a sec that's no different then what i used to have, will just get back to it instead of making a new network here entirelyMy question is what's the point of all this, having same things that we have else where, what's the big enough long term incentive , to build a network outside of where everyone is already.- giving out free money (meme coins) doesn't work (ct peopke eventually ran out of it)
- majorly people don't bother with account ownership (apart from creators)
- building a new network in siloed protocol isn't a good investment
