Phase #2: choose the main mechanism.**Okay, now we're talking!
We raised a budget of $20 🎉 (fundraising will continue until the next phase).
Big thanks to @artem @kipto @andrija @selwe @zosphotos @xyori and others for support the fundraising.Let's figure out how to make a good competition. How to curation participants and how to fairly find winners? I have three options in my head:1. To use the standard Orb competition mechanism. I personally don't quite like the current version of the voting system. I mentioned it before (https://orb.club/p/16dntwzetr24v2kqgqt?sharedBy=obias). Plus, we're facing a bots problem, and I'm not sure how effective I can be against them. Maybe the orb team would like me to use "competitions" as much as possible, but I'd avoid it until it becomes more mature.2. Curation. To use my photography expertise and my reputation in the community (still waiting my photographer badge 😑). No voting - I choose winners. We did it before. It will reduce "social" activity which is not the best, but the competition outcome will be more professional.3. to Create a club with gated membership and use orb voting inside. Hybrid options. I am a filter at the gate only. Again, it may reduce social activity, but the community will keep more control over who is the winner.4. Something different. Suggestions are welcome in comments.Please vote below (multiple answers if you're not sure what is the best). I keep the right of final decision.
