Because men often do not cry only because of love. They cry from exhaustion. From feeling replaceable. From years of accumulated anxiety, pressure, loneliness, and silence.Sometimes one person becomes the only place where the mind can rest.And when that place disappears, all the hidden pain comes out at once.That night, the man believed ending his life would end the suffering. He thought it while looking down from the bridge, trapped inside an economic, emotional, and personal crisis that felt impossible to carry.But then came a small moment. Almost insignificant.One step back.Then another.Then walking toward a café.Not because life had suddenly been fixed. Not because the pain disappeared. But because deep inside, there was still a part of him that wanted to be saved.Many men do not say, “I need help.”They say:

“Everything’s okay.”While inside they feel like they are losing the battle.Men’s mental health is not only about depression. It is also about the emotional silence many men were taught to live with. About learning to endure without speaking. About hiding fear in order to appear strong.But suffering in silence is not always strength.Sometimes asking for help is the bravest thing a man can do.If you are a man reading this, remember:
one bad night does not deserve a permanent decision.
Being abandoned does not define your worth.
And hitting rock bottom does not mean your story is over.Sometimes surviving begins with something as simple as taking one step back from the edge.
