My only real criticism of Hey is that the fees are too high, and because they're not shared with other clients, the model emulates web2 more than it embodies web3.My comment was not meant to be a dig at Hey, but instead pushing back at the notion that what Hey is doing is working. It may be profitable for a handful of accounts that you're paying to use the app, but it's largely failed to move the needle in any meaningful way, from what I can see. I point this out to suggest that there is no evidence that the Social Payment system is something that other apps should adopt or embrace.Btw, it's interesting to see that you're able to see and quote posts from other apps, but yet none of your users are. Repost to Earn 🤑@palus was just updated to give you more options when creating Collects! You can now specify a "referral share", which is a portion of each collect fee rewarded when someone mints directly from a repost. You can also now specify an exact date and time when the sale ends, and the fee taken by Palus was lowered by 33%.This incentivizes others to share your posts by allowing them to earn from reposting. When there is an active referral, you'll now see an indicator next to the repost button and see the amount before you select the option. These referrals are paid out when added on Orb, Palus, or any other Lens app!Reminder that Palus never takes a fee from tips. 🤝

If you ever see a token using the Palus name or brand, know that I have nothing to do with it. There will never be a Palus token.

How should Palus deal with posts made on Hey?It's possible to add support for Hey Social Payments, but note that the fees would still go to Hey. Paid comments made on Palus would be visible on Hey. I could also add the option to hide all posts made on Hey (opt-in).

NFTs on LensWe've had a bunch of apps/sites focused on NFTs during the life of Lens, including Lensport, Orna, Mystic Garden, and Lensie, but I believe all have missed a crucial point: social! The thing that's unique about Lens is the social protocol, not the chain.It's surprising to me that no app has focused on the main thing that adds value to collectibles: secondary sales. There is still no way to sell a Lens post that you've collected, after 4 years. We've had the ability to resell NFTs directly in posts for years, but nobody has done it. Lens post NFTs could evolve based on social interactions. Groups could be used for access control. Individual posts could be drops as part of a larger collection. Collectibles can use any type of monetization, including auctions, lotteries, pwyw, and blind mints. The possibilities that Lens affords are limited only by imagination.Lens makes NFT creation as simple as posting on Twitter, but until now, there has been no innovation that fully embraces and expands on this. All of the marketplace apps have taken the external approach, requiring users to leave the feed to interact, but I believe that's missing the point (and power) of Lens.
