When you wake up in the morning do you allowe yourself a little moment to pause and sense the world? It might even be one beautiful thing you notice in your environment. Today I noticed myself loving the scent of freshly cut grass and then I saw a beautiful bird enjoying it too. π
GM! Mondays can work like new beginning for whatever we want to achieve in life. We only need plan and action points after that! πͺ
New week and food preps to make life easier!
Being able to go to ice swimming is one of the best things in North. Luckily ice baths are becoming more popular elsewhere too!Benefits of ice bath I have experienced:
- clears the mind and improves the mood
- helps central nervous system (reduces stress)
- Reduces tiredness Cold shower can do the same tricks if cold bath is not available πͺ
You may have noticed that philosophy is one of my passions! Solutions to many modern day issues can be found in ancient books as people have always tried to find answers to difficult questions. This has been my favourite podcast for years. The podcast navigates history of philosophy from Plato to post-modernists. https://podcasts.apple.com/ae/podcast/philosophize-this/id659155419
Be mindful of how people make you feel and how your energy changes around them. π« As humans we are usually really strict about physical untouchability but do we pay attention to who we let impact on our mental state?
Random fact and a confession: Iβm an organization freak. π Getting rid of unnecessary stuff clears my mind and organization works like a therapy. Usually I listen an audiobook at the same time. π«
GM and hope you have an energetic start of the week! Breakfast is of course the most important meal of the day and I loove banana cake for special breakfast π€©
When I am among the trees,
especially the willows and the honey locust,
equally the beech, the oaks and the pines,
they give off such hints of gladness.
I would almost say that they save me, and daily.I am so distant from the hope of myself,
in which I have goodness, and discernment,
and never hurry through the world
but walk slowly, and bow often.Around me the trees stir in their leaves
and call out, βStay awhile.β
The light flows from their branches. And they call again, βItβs simple,β they say,
βand you too have come
into the world to do this, to go easy, to be filled
with light, and to shine.β Mary Oliver
