I'm launching a Zora creator coin for The Cryptos webcomic, so I thought I'd write a few words on this: I started my strip back in September 2017 and since then I’ve published over 200 comics. It’s always been a passion project - something I return to when inspiration hits and life allows.Up until now, I’ve never monetized the strip. Launching a creator coin feels like a natural next step - a way to invite people to buy into the project if they see value in it, or want to support the comic into the future. As one of the longest-running art projects in web3, my webcomic has documented many different periods in crypto - from the olden days of the-sky-is-the-limit whitepapers, BTC forks, ICOs and brutal bear markets, through to the modern era of NFTs, memecoins, ETH killers, crypto gaming, and whatever’s next.My comics have mostly trended on Reddit, though I post across multiple channels. If my creator coin became a real source of revenue, it would allow me to create comics more often. That said, I’ll keep making comics either way, as I've always done.Creating this comic has brought me immense joy - it’s the one thing in life that, when I’m deep into it, I completely lose myself in the process.Thank you for reading this.
