The story is read by students starting from fifth grade to university farmacia-aperta students. The students learn the importance of courage, dignity, love, sacrifice and self-worth from the children who lived and died during the Holocaust. During my presentations in classrooms and now in telephone communication I have learned how wonderful our young generations are. They are intelligent, sensitive and they want to know and learn about this tragic page in history. They tell me they will always remember and honor the children who never had their tomorrows.

It is with deep regret that we note the passing of Alicia on April 8th 2017. She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, with the same courage with which she lived her life. She asked that donations in her memory be made to organizations supporting refugees or Jewish youth, noting in particular Hadassa Youth Aliyah (which so helped her in her youth).
