today marks my day 5 of the hug open sessions, and hug sent an email about "touch grass,", and relax so i did. i took a walk, chilled out, and tried to relax. but then it hit me nothing is more relaxing than creating.
art for me isn’t work, it’s oxygen. i came back home, fired up fl studio, and did what i do best: made something new.
this track is a jersey club vibe, slowed down to 135 bpm, from a sample on my own track "hyper tek," but flipped. took the bass, warped it, and built a whole new world around it. inspiration came from hypercars drifting at night, and i ran the visuals through ai for the cover art later on tested new stuff on touchdesigner just to try new things everyday
the process was raw and honest, just like my connection to creation. touching grass reminded me how vital it is to keep doing what makes me alive every. single. day.
